Terms of Service

Last updated 7 November 2026

Wickd lets you trade on whether a price goes up or down, with a multiplier. We are the other side of every Cash trade, you can lose all the money you put into a trade, and the service isn't available everywhere. Please read these terms and the Risk Disclosure before you deposit.

1. About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Wickd ("Wickd", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure and Cookie Policy. Accepting online binds you in the same way as signing on paper, as Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services allows.

If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

2. Who can use the service

To use the service you must:

  • be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher
  • have the legal capacity to enter into this contract
  • act for yourself, with your own money, and not for anyone else
  • hold only one account
  • not appear on a sanctions list of the United Nations or the United Arab Emirates, and not be owned or controlled by anyone who does

Cash is offered only where we hold the licence or permission needed, or where none is needed. It isn't offered to anyone in:

  • the United Arab Emirates, unless we hold a licence that covers it
  • the United States of America
  • any country or territory under United Nations or United Arab Emirates sanctions
  • any place where offering or using it would break local law

New accounts, new trades, deposits and promo codes aren't available from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine or Uzbekistan. We work out your country from your IP address. If you already hold an account and are in one of these places, you can still sign in, close positions and withdraw.

It's up to you to check that local law lets you use the service. Using a VPN, false details or someone else's account to get around these limits is a breach of these terms.

We may ask you to prove who you are, where you live and where your money comes from, at any time. If you don't, or if we can't verify what you give us, we may limit or close your account.

3. What Wickd is

There are two balances. Paper is practice money: it starts at $10,000, has no cash value and can't be withdrawn. Cash holds the money you deposit, and a losing Cash trade reduces it.

Each Cash trade is a contract between you and us. It is settled in your balance, and its value follows the price of a stock or coin, multiplied by the multiplier you pick, up to x1000 where available.

  • We are your counterparty. When you profit we lose that amount, and when you lose we keep it. Our interests can conflict with yours.
  • Orders aren't sent to any exchange or market.
  • You never own, receive or deliver the stock or coin, and you have no rights over it, such as votes or dividends.
  • Prices come from third-party market data, currently Hyperliquid, and can differ from prices elsewhere.
  • We are not a bank. Your balance is a claim against us. It isn't a deposit, it earns no interest, and no deposit or investor protection scheme covers it.

4. Your account and its security

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your account, unless it happened because of our own failure.

We strongly recommend two-factor authentication, which you can turn on in Settings. Tell us at once on [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account.

5. Deposits and withdrawals

  • Our payment provider, WestWallet, handles deposits and withdrawals. You can use only the coins and networks shown on screen, which can change.
  • You can also pay by card or bank through independent services such as MoonPay, Changelly and Switchere. We link to them and are not their agent. They sell you the coins and send them to the deposit address you give them. Your purchase is with them: their terms, fees, limits and identity checks apply, and we never see your card details. Your balance is credited only once the coins arrive.
  • Crypto transfers can't be reversed. Send only the coin shown, only on the network shown, at or above the minimum, and with the memo or tag if one is shown. Money sent otherwise can be lost, and we may be unable to recover it.
  • Your balance is held in US dollars. USDT and USDC credit it one for one. Any other coin is exchanged to dollars when it lands, and you are credited with what the exchange actually gives, which can differ from the price you saw. Network and provider charges can reduce what arrives.
  • Withdrawals are paid in USDT or USDC, to the address and network you choose, and can't be reversed once sent. A network fee, currently $1, comes off the amount.
  • Large withdrawals, and several in a day, wait for a manual check by our team.
  • Withdrawals pause for 24 hours after a password reset or change, after linking Google, and after turning two-factor off, so a stolen account can't be emptied at once.
  • With two-factor on, every withdrawal needs a code.

We may delay, hold or refuse a deposit or withdrawal, or ask for more information, to meet anti-money-laundering and sanctions law or to stop fraud. The law may stop us from telling you why.

If money reaches your account by mistake, we may reverse it.

6. How trades work

  • Margin. The amount you put into a trade is its margin. Trades are isolated: a loss on one comes only from that trade's margin, including anything you add to it. It can be lost in full.
  • Orders. A market order fills at the price we show when we receive it. A limit order waits until the price reaches your limit. We may refuse an order, for example if a limit below is reached or a price has stopped updating.
  • Liquidation. If a trade's loss reaches its liquidation price, we close it automatically and without notice, and its margin is lost. Our systems do this all day, every day, including while you sleep.
  • Take profit and stop loss. These close a trade automatically when our price reaches them. They aren't guaranteed to fill at that exact price, because prices can jump.
  • Market pauses. If a market's price stops updating, it can't be traded, filled or liquidated until updates return, and you may be unable to cash out in that time.
  • Limits. A single position can't currently exceed $10,000,000, and all customers together can't currently hold more than $50,000,000 on one side of a market. We can change these.
  • Fees. We currently charge no fee to open or close a trade and no funding. We can introduce or change fees on 30 days' notice, and will show them before you trade.
  • Errors. If a trade was made at a price that was clearly wrong, for example because of a data or system fault, we may correct or cancel it, and will tell you.

Orders and closes made by our automated systems bind you and us, as Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 provides for automated transactions. Our records are the primary evidence of them, unless shown to be wrong.

7. Promo codes and bonuses

  • A code works once per person, and can expire or run out.
  • A bonus goes into Cash, and you can trade with it straight away.
  • Until you have deposited at least as much as the bonus, you can withdraw only your own deposits. The bonus, and anything it wins, stays in your account until then.
  • We may cancel a bonus and what it won if it was obtained through several accounts or other abuse.

8. Affiliates

We review every application, and may decline or end an affiliate relationship at any time.

Commission is a share of the trading fees we actually collect from people you refer. While we charge no trading fees, no commission builds up.

You may not refer yourself, mislead anyone, promise profit, or promote the service to anyone in a place listed in section 2. You are responsible for following advertising and financial promotion law wherever you promote.

9. What you must not do

  • break any law, or use the service to launder money or finance terrorism
  • use money that isn't yours or that comes from crime
  • hold or control more than one account, or trade jointly with others to get around limits
  • exploit a delay, error or fault in our prices or systems
  • use automated tools against the service, overload it, probe it or try to get around its security
  • copy, reverse engineer or resell the service
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or that belongs to someone else

If you find a security problem, tell us on [email protected] and don't use it. We won't treat good-faith reporting as a breach.

10. Suspending and closing accounts

We may suspend or close your account, cancel orders and close open trades at the market price if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service where you are. We will tell you unless the law stops us, and will return what you are owed unless the law or a competent authority prevents it.

You can delete your account in Settings once your trades are closed and your Cash balance is zero. Records we must keep remain, as the Privacy Policy explains.

11. Our content and yours

Wickd, its logo, software, design and content belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights and Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks. Other names and logos belong to their owners.

You keep the rights in any photo you upload, and allow us to store and show it as part of your profile. You confirm you have the right to use it.

12. No advice

Nothing on Wickd is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to trade. You decide on your own, and you are responsible for any tax you owe.

13. Availability

The service is provided as it is and as available. It can be interrupted by maintenance, faults, or by third parties such as market data providers, blockchains and hosts. We can change or withdraw features, and will give notice of a change that materially affects you where we reasonably can.

14. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or gross fault, or any right that UAE law doesn't allow to be excluded, including under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and the Civil Transactions Law.

Subject to that, and as far as the law allows:

  • we aren't liable for trading losses, including from liquidation, price moves or market pauses
  • we aren't liable for indirect loss, or for loss of profit or opportunity
  • we aren't liable for failures of third parties or events outside our reasonable control
  • we aren't liable for money you send to a wrong address or network
  • our total liability for any claim is limited to the larger of your Cash balance when the event happened and USD 100

15. Your responsibility to us

As far as the law allows, you will cover loss we suffer because you broke these terms or the law. We may set off what you owe us against your balance.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it applies, unless the law requires it sooner. If you don't agree, stop using the service and withdraw your balance before the change applies.

17. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where they apply, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai.

If something goes wrong, write to [email protected] first. We aim to reply within 30 days.

If that doesn't settle it, the courts of the Emirate of Dubai have jurisdiction. This doesn't take away any right the law gives you as a consumer to go to another court or authority.

18. Language and general terms

These terms are written in English. Where UAE law requires an Arabic version, or a court works in Arabic, the Arabic version prevails.

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right, we still keep it. You can't transfer this contract. We may transfer it to a company that takes over the service, if your rights aren't reduced. We may contact you by email or in the app.
